A few months ago, I was in a darker place than I am now. I was feeling sad often. I hadn't bought my pup, Gus, yet, and I was feeling more lonely than usual in my new home during this new chapter of my life. Thank goodness that was only a small chapter of my life, but while I was there in the valley, a dear friend of mine sent me a letter in the mail that still remains on my refrigerator. I read it any time I feel discouraged. I've almost committed it to memory now, and it remains one of the most impactful letters/ piece I've ever received. I'm so thankful for friends who remind us of the truth about who we are and WHOSE we are. It's a reminder that our Heavenly Father loves us and cares for us, even when we are less than confident. He has a purpose for us when we feel less than purpose-filled. I just had to share it with you because I know in my heart that someone besides me needs to read it--share this with someone you know needs this:
