*Add These Books To Your TBR

I think now is about the time when we all have our Book Goals in place. Since really diving back into reading, my goals have changed from year to year. One year, I wanted to read 15 nonfiction books (that was the year I got really into memoirs). Last year, I wanted to focus on reading longer books, so I set a “Pages Read” goal instead of a book goal. I always like to use my Reading Goals to help further my own goals.

This year, I know that my reading may look a little different, so I have a soft reading goal of 50 books, but my main goal is to make sure that the books I read are evenly spread across media, audiobooks, kindle, and hardcovers. They all offer a little something different, and I have SO many unread books on my bookshelf just collecting dust. I know that this year, I’ll be getting a lot less sleep, so I’m hoping that reading can continue to be the thing that keeps me from scrolling on social media- I mean, I love to see what you guys are up to and all, but there’s a limit, you know?

No matter what your Reading Goal looks like this year, I have a few suggestions for your TBR (To Be Read) list. I also want to say that whether your goal is 5 books or 50, reading is not a competition. It’s an activity that is supposed to be an act of self-love for yourself and your imagination. Please don’t let reading be yet another thing that we let become a part of the Comparison Trap.

Here’s my list for you. Also, I made these blurbs little images for you guys to really make a case for these books because I’m going DEEEP into the book I’ve loved over the year, and continue to think about and recommend.
