True Life: I'm Addicted to Juicing

My Favorite Juices


A juicer like mine is here. And I use some glass bottles to make my juices feel fancier-- i got those here. I don't get any credit for those links- I'm just nice like that :)


I bought mine a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed totally with it. It’s been a great way to ease into my intermittent fasting — which is basically millennial speak for skipping breakfast. I got together a list of my juice recipes that I can’t get enough of.


Now, just to disclose, I go in and out of intermittent fasting because I just LOVE breakfast so much, honestly. It’s my favorite meal of the day!


First, since getting a juicer, I keep a few things in my pantry and fridge at all times:


Lemons

Cucumbers

Celery

Berries (raspberry, blueberry, blackberry)

Carrots


Here are some of my favorite recipes— keep in mind that they make a good bit of juice. I also put a scoop of collagen in there and shake it up really well.

One more note: I also have added a scoop of matcha to A LOT of these recipes, and I find it’s delicious. Find ways to mix these up for your own taste buds!

PS: I didn't take pictures of all of these-- one: because I drank them too fast/ was moving too fast to have a photoshoot for a drink, and two: because some of them just look a little radioactive, even though they're delicious.



Hot Pink Pretty

2 beets

3 carrots

1 lemon

1 apple

1 bunch of kale leaves

4 celery stalks

1 inch of ginger


Green Juice

2 cucumbers

4 celery stalks

2 small apples

3 bunches of kale

1 lemon

1 handful of spinach


Bedtime Beauty

1 cucumber

1 bunch of parsley

1 tsp grated ginger

1/2 lemon

1/3 c water



Sunny Mint

1 granny apple

2 oranges

1 bunch of mint (small) ** I put mint leaves in a cup of water on the stove for about 5 minutes and throw that in the water **


Spicy Lemonade

2 lemons

3 granny apples

1 tsp cayenne pepper


Berry Good

4 celery stalks

4 pineapple logs (about 1/4 of a small pineapple)

Handful of raspberries, blueberries, blackberries


Watermelon Yum

1/2 of a personal watermelon

1 cucumber

1 lemon

a bunch of mint *remember what I said about the mint leaves in water*


Carrot-Apple- Lemon

4 apples

4 carrots

2 lemons


Carrot- Apple- Ginger

6 carrots

4 apples

5 cm ginger


Morning Matcha

2 carrots

3 celery

1/2 lemon

1 c berries

1 apple

1 scoop collagen

1 scoop matcha


Mean Green (serves about 2)

2 cucumber

8 celery sticks

4 apples

2 bunches of kale

1 lemon

5 cm ginger


Green Lemonade (serves about 2)

2 apples

4 handfuls of spinach

3 handful of kale leaves

1 cucumber

4 celery sticks

2 lemons
