So recently, I teamed up with a rep for Rodan and Fields! She gave me a few products to try for a little while so I could report back on how much I love (or hate) them. I'm writing this after only using the skin care lines she gave me twice, so I'll be sure to update you guys as I go along and reap more results and benefits of the line. I've been using the Reverse line, the Redefine line and the Lash Boost (which I may be most excited for).
The Reverse Routine
The Reverse Care line is to brighten skin and fix discoloration. I don't have particularly dull skin, but I always see pretty Instagram Models who look like they just don't ever even need to wear foundation, and I aspire to be in that club, so here I am. I'm trying to get skin that doesn't require ANY MAKEUP. I want to post a pic and be all #nofilter, so I'm enlisting the help of this Reverse Care Line.. The Reverse Line comes with an exfoliating face wash, a toner, a Dual Active Brightening lotion thing, and some sunscreen. I will report back soon with results, but here's what that routine is like: CLEANSING. The exfoliating face wash is the grainiest exfoliation I've ever experienced, and I mean that in such great way. The ONLY trick is to make sure that you wash it off thoroughly because if you aren't careful you WILL have grains on you through the next step and that's kind of annoying. The toner is to brighten your skin, and I wipe it all over my face with a gauze pad, which makes it feel so official. Some toners burn, but this one does NOT, and my skin actually looks brighter after I apply it; maybe it's psychological, but I doubt it. The double action lotion is really cool. These two little tubes mix the contents to make this lotion that is so smooth and wonderful. The sunscreen is for more of a daytime application, and I've been applying all this stuff at night, so I've skipped that part so far. I'll report back to let you know how that is when I cleanse during the day.
The Redefining Routine
The Redefine is a shorter routine than the one before, which already doesn't take that long. The Redefine is to define your face and get rid of wrinkles, which I don't really have a problem with yet, but an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure, right? I think so. So this routine is a bunch of serums, which I'm a fan of because it makes me feel fancy to say that I use serums. whatever. There's a Lip Renewing Serum, a Night Renewing Serum and an Eye Cream, and I'm a fan of them all. The lip serum actually renews and plumps your lips up a little! I'm coming for you, Kylie! and the Night Renewing Serum is just for everywhere to get rid of the wrinkles while you're asleep. the eye cream rids wrinkles, too. I've only used all of these twice, so I haven't seen many results, yet, but I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.
Let's Get Lengthy Lashes
The most anticipated, personally, is the Lash Boost results. I've thought about getting lash extensions, but I'm terrified, and this seems to be the perfect solution. I've used it about three times, because I'm eager to see results, but I definitely recommend using this before bed. I wore it during the day, under my mascara, and it kind of burned. SO I would just slap it on your lash line after all of your eye makeup is off, and you're ready for bed. I read that it takes about two weeks to see results from that, so I think that I'll update everyone on all of these products then!
I am SOO excited to share these results with you! And if you have any questions before then, contact my girl Taylor! She is so sweet, and would love to help you out!
